Robert J. Sykes, Jr was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia in December 2003 at the age of 47. This rare form of Dementia is a brain disease that slowly erodes cognitive abilities and causes personality changes. He endured the disease for more than three years before succumbing on April 7, 2006. This story will provide support and inspiration to others who are coping with dementia and other irreversible illnesses.

Bob's 59th Birthday
1/23/2015 - Today would have been Bob's 59th Birthday! Bob really looked forward to his birthdays the last few years of his life. When he was approaching his 49th, Michelle would always ask if he was going to be 94. He enjoyed correcting her!
