9/23/2018 - It's FTD Awareness Week! The Association for Frontemporal Degeneration launched the week with this full-page ad in The New York Times.
Dementia can strike at any age, and FTD is the most common dementia for people under 60.
Bob was diagnosed at the age of 47 and passed away at 50.
Robert J. Sykes, Jr was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia in December 2003 at the age of 47. This rare form of Dementia is a brain disease that slowly erodes cognitive abilities and causes personality changes. He endured the disease for more than three years before succumbing on April 7, 2006. This story will provide support and inspiration to others who are coping with dementia and other irreversible illnesses.

1/23/2018 - We're remembering Bob on his 62nd birthday today! Marie and Michelle recently found this baby photo of him at his parents house. What a gem! We're also including a bonus pic since the Philadelphia Eagles are headed to the Super Bowl!
