Robert J. Sykes, Jr was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia in December 2003 at the age of 47. This rare form of Dementia is a brain disease that slowly erodes cognitive abilities and causes personality changes. He endured the disease for more than three years before succumbing on April 7, 2006. This story will provide support and inspiration to others who are coping with dementia and other irreversible illnesses.

Added to ADEAR Center's Online Database!
6/24/2011 - We received word late last evening that An Evolution of Love has been reviewed and approved for addition by the Alzheimer’s Disease Education and Referral (ADEAR) Center, which is sponsored by the National Institute on Aging. The ADEAR Center website offers the general public (including family caregivers of persons with Frontotemporal Dementia) an online database of resources from various sources. Audiobook Update
6/8/2011 - Initial editing for the audiobook has been completed! Marie and Michelle are reviewing the recordings to make sure they sound great. One more recording session will be set up shortly to do any final tweaking that needs to take place. After that, the recording will be mastered and ready for your ears!!
