10/6/2011 - Marie and Michelle were once again invited to speak at an Arden Courts event in Kensington, MD. Unfortunately, schedules don't permit their attendance at this particular event, but both Marie and Michelle are very humbled to have been invited. Audiobook Editing Moving Along!

8/5/2011 - Marie was in the studio with Greg Fisher this past Wednesday working on a few edits. One final session is scheduled for later in the month. After that, the recording will be mastered and then released!

6/24/2011 - We received word late last evening that An Evolution of Love has been reviewed and approved for addition by the Alzheimer’s Disease Education and Referral (ADEAR) Center, which is sponsored by the National Institute on Aging. The ADEAR Center website offers the general public (including family caregivers of persons with Frontotemporal Dementia)  an online database of resources from various sources. An abstract is still being created, but in the meantime, you can check out the listing at

Audiobook Update

6/8/2011 - Initial editing for the audiobook has been completed! Marie and Michelle are reviewing the recordings to make sure they sound great. One more recording session will be set up shortly to do any final tweaking that needs to take place. After that, the recording will be mastered and ready for your ears!!

5/13/2011 - The Alzheimer's Disease Education and Referral (ADEAR) Center, which is sponsored by the National Institute on Aging has requested a copy of  “An Evolution of Love” for consideration to be added to their online list of current resources for FTD family caregivers.  The ADEAR Center website offers the general public (including family caregivers of persons with Frontotemporal Dementia)  an online database of resources from various sources at www.nia.nih.gov/alzheimers/resources/searchhealthliterature/  Following a review of this book and approval by ADEAR staff, it will be described in the database and will include contact and ordering information.

AFTD Name Change

2/18/2011 - The Association for Frontotemporal Dementia announced its official name change today. It will now be The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration. The change was made in light of all of the wonderful research that has been happening in the field of FTD. The organization feels the new name is a better fit, but in no way changes the mission (or anything else) of the Association. We will continue to make a donation to AFTD for each book sold! Thanks for your continued support!
